The Nova Scotia Forest Festival is back at Memory Lane Heritage Village on Saturday, October 5th.
The festival will run from 11 AM to 4 PM and is a showcase of the many ways Nova Scotians connect to our forests for their livelihood, housing, recreation, food, and heritage.
Featuring live horse logging demonstrations with Ruby and Dan, a matched pair of Clydesdale-crosses. Enjoy axe throwing, hands-on activities & heritage demonstrations for all ages.
The event culminates in the Golden Axe-throwing Tournament where local businesses will be going axe-head to axe-head to see who has the chops.
The Nova Scotia Forest Festival is free admission and is rain or shine, so come on out no matter the weather!
