Bilingual Visitor Services Assistant (pdf)
The Bilingual Visitor Services Assistant plays a key role at Memory Lane Heritage Village by providing French language services to visitors and as a support person to senior staff and volunteers. This is a front-line position, which will allow students to gain valuable experience in bilingual communications, planning, coordination, visitor services.
Terms of Employment: Start date in early June for 12 weeks at 37.5 hours per week. $16.00 per hour + 4% vacation pay + free cookhouse lunch. Students must be enrolled in full time studies prior to, and after, the work-term and be under the age of 30 (proof required).

Special Events & Visitor Services Assistant (pdf)
The Special Events & Visitor Services Assistant plays a key role as a support person to senior staff and volunteers. Office Administrator (pdf)
The Office Administrator is essentially the “command centre” of the Village and is responsible for handling the daily phone inquiries, tour bookings, special event inquiries and other reservations.
Terms of Employment: May 12 to August 24, 2025. 37.5 hours per week at $16.00 per hour + 4% vacation pay + free cookhouse lunch. Students must be enrolled in full time studies prior to, and after, the work-term and be under the age of 30 (proof required).

Junior Visitor Services Assistant (pdf)
The Junior Visitor Services Assistant is an entry-level position, suitable for high school students. This is a front-line position, which will allow students to gain valuable experience in communications, planning, coordination, business and visitor and food services.
Terms of Employment: July 1 to August 31, 2025. 30-35 hours per week at $15.50 per hour + 4% vacation pay + free cookhouse lunch. Opportunity to work before and after the work-term on weekends and school holidays. Students must be enrolled in full time studies prior to, and after, the work-term and be under the age of 30 (proof required).

Heritage Programming Coordinator (pdf)
The Heritage Programming Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director and Senior Staff to create 1940s programming for special events, tours, school field trips, as well as assist with a youth volunteer program in partnership with other community stakeholders.

Collections & Interpretation Assistant (pdf)
The primary focus of the Collections & Interpretation Assistant will be to accession (catalogue) and house (either in storage or on display) items contained in backlog and to carry out interpretive tasks related to the collection.
Terms of Employment: May 6 to August 24, 2025. 37.5 hours per week at $16.77 per hour + 4% vacation pay + free cookhouse lunch. Students must be enrolled in full time studies prior to, and after, the work-term and be under the age of 30 (proof required).

It will be the Assistant Archivist’s duty to oversee research requests and carry out research on the various collections that the archives is working on.
