1940s "Costume Magic" Display
1940s “Costume Magic” was hosted at Memory Lane Heritage Village this summer as part of our 25th anniversary celebrations. A huge undertaking, living models "walked out of" archival pictures wearing recreated outfits cut, sewn, and knitted by talented volunteers of the Heritage Village’s costume department (often without the use of existing patterns.) The newly created apparel now remain as part of the Heritage Village’s costume department, some of which will be on display in the Webber House as part of the festival.
