An old fashioned summer tea party in the Clam Factory using antique china and serving lots of sandwiches and dainty squares.
There are two seatings for the tea, at 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm. Tea tickets are $10, with some seats available for reservation online or by contacting the Heritage Village. There will be some seats available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the Tea Social for those who cannot purchase ahead of time.
An Ecumenical church service will be held in our historic church, followed by the Tea Social using china teacups and serving a selection of sandwiches, squares and our famous butter tarts. Rev. Tricia Ingram will be leading the service at 1 PM in the Clam Harbour Church here at Memory Lane. All are welcome! Organist Pearl Akers will be returning to play the pump organ in the Church. Come and sing along to traditional hymns from the 1940s.
These events are part of the Women's Heritage Celebration, an annual 2-day celebration of women’s work in the home and community at Memory Lane Heritage Village.
